Iran's Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI) signed a memorandum of cooperation with the German company Raschig
On Wednesday 7 November 2017 Iran's Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI) signed a memorandum of cooperation with the german company Raschig to expand bilateral cooperation.
Dr. Mansour Bazmi, Deputy Director of Technology and International Relations at the Iran's Research Institute of Petroleum Industry, referred to the role of the Raschig in Europe, and said: "This Company is one of the most prominent companies in Europe and the world, and many industries are cooperating with it."
He also pointed to various aspects of the memorandum and added that the agreement was signed for the development of cooperation between the two organizations in the transfer of methods and technologies related to the internal equipment of the distillation columns in the refining and petrochemical industries, the design of distillation columns based on the products of the German company, the training of Winsorp software, training of specialists and scientific employees in the field of this company. Finally, the company will produce privately its equipment in Iran with the support of Iran's Research Institute of Petroleum Industry.

Michael Schulz, Technical Director of Raschig Company, said that the company's activities have been more than 120 years old and these activities are focused on fractionating columns, not only in Germany, but also provides services to many companies around the world.
He continued: "Following the studies, Iran was recognized as a country suitable for expanding cooperation and commercialization of products, and we hope that the exchange of information and experience between the two countries will take place on a wide scale."
The technical director of the German company said about the activities of the Iran's Research Institute of Petroleum Industry: "For the first time, I visit this research center, and the activities of this center have affected me very much, I am very impressed with its work and would like to get as much information as possible about its spheres of activity in order to expand bilateral cooperation.".
