RIPI Scientist Bags INEF Allameh Tabatabaei Award

 

 

 

 

TEHRAN Nov. 23 (RIPI) -- Alimorad Rashidi, head of the Nanotechnology Research Campus of the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI), was selected as an elite Iranian scientist by Iran's National Elites Foundation (INEF) and took home the foundation's Allameh Tabatabaei Award .

A ceremony was mounted at INEF where Iranian Vice-President for Science and Technology Sorena Sattari, Minister of Science, Research and Technology Mohammad Farhadi, and the INEF managing director attended the event on November 15.

INEF granted Dr. Rashidi the award for his scientific endeavors and achievements. The RIPI scientist has 13 patented inventions in the US and Europe besides having registered 35 patents for his inventions in Iran. He has also developed 8 industrial-scale technologies and has published 240 articles in leading national and international scientific journals.     

Rashidi also won the top Iranian researcher in nanotechnology in 2008 and got the country's best petroleum researcher in 2013.

This was the 4th Allameh Award granted by INEF since 2011.

TEHRAN Nov. 23 (RIPI) -- The public relations office of the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI) was honored as a top PR unit in Iran's petroleum industry at the 7th Superior Public Relations of I.R.Iran Petroleum Industry.  

Among other PR units across Iran's oil and gas industry, RIPI was placed first in electronic relations of administrative companies, second in media relations and third in communications planning.

The festival was arranged in 6 sections and considered public relations units of petroleum companies in the four levels: major companies, administrative companies, production companies and refineries, and provincial gas companies.

Addressing the closing ceremony of the festival, Akbar Nematollahi, deputy petroleum minister of public relations, revered RIPI's PR department for placing wisdom on top of its agenda.

The one-day festival opened on November 1 to praise top PR offices of petroleum companies in Iran. The event was also attended by Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh.
