RIPI Research Might Luring for Foreign Partners: Official
TEHRAN, April 10 (RIPI) -- A senior official with the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI) says the institute has built itself an international reputation as a reliable energy research center and has lured foreigners into partnerships by displaying its research capabilities.
Mohammad Reza Kamali, head of the upstream faculty of the institute, said the institute enjoys 56 years of practical experience in its portfolio and has a firm grip on petroleum industry problems and methods to tackle them.
He said the institute is keen on gaining access to state-of-the-art oil industry know-how by reaching out for holders of the know-how in other countries of the world.
Kamali said RIPI has been considered as a domestic trade partners for foreign investors willing to join petroleum projects in Iran under new oil contract model (IPC) so that it will play a more important role in developing and deploying new technologies.
"RIPI has evolved to outshine its regional rivals in generation of technologies and sustainable growth," he added.
